OMG! shoes

I kinda would rather slum it in moccasins most days - and once summer gets here, I'm pretty much barefoot anytime I can get away with it. So even I recognize how unusual it is that I'm obsessed with shoes, particularly those of the sky-high variety. And it gets even better when they're platforms! If you can't find a badass new pair of shoes from the bajillion below to covet for this spring and summer, I you are so officially crrrrazzzyyyy!!! For serious.

man repeller makeover

Earlier this week, my editor, Kerry, and I went down to Kirna Zabete in SoHo for the morning to shoot a little makeover for StyleCaster with none other than one of my favorite fashion bloggers, Leandra Medine, aka The Man Repeller. It was so much fun to browse around and play dress up in all the newest trends and clothes that I can in no way afford. Leandra changed clothes about as many times as I did and ended up buying this fabulous lime Proenza Schouler slip dress. Needless to say, I was très jaloux.

The pictures from the makeover, taken by StyleCaster favorite Joseph D'Arco, will be on the site soon. I'll re-post them here afterwards but until then, here's a little snapshot Kerry took on her phone. I'm excited to see how the real pictures turned out!

charming bows & cherry blossoms

If you haven't already browsed through The Cherry Blossom Girl blog, you should do so ASAP. Her site is a pastel confection of all things cute and girly. It's a daily stop on my blog-roll! So naturally, I think it's simply divine that she has collaborated with Etam to design a collection of lingerie. Think French chic meets Lolita. I've posted the video campaign that accompanies the first two released themes of the line below. It's adorable. Oui?
